Primary Trauma Care Foundation Workshop
Monday, 17 March | 13:00 - 17:00 GMT | Zoom
This full-day workshop aimed to accelerate the development of Primary Trauma Care Foundation training modules for clinicians. Participants will focus on the PTC chest tube module — creating both the specification for a simulator and knowledge materials for the training module.
What is task deconstruction?
In the context of procedural medicine and training, task deconstruction is a process of breaking down a complex procedure into smaller, manageable components or steps. Each step is analyzed in detail, allowing learners to focus on individual elements of the task before putting everything together into a complete procedure.
The purpose of task deconstruction in procedural skills training is to simplify the learning process and identify key skills required at each step of a procedure.
